The UMI Performance 5021-B is a tubular single adjustable panhard bar and a direct replacement for the flimsy stock panhard bar on the 1975-1980 GM H-Body. It adds strength, improves the bushing setup and allows rear end adjustment, which makes it a must for recentering the rear end after lowering and for creating clearance to run larger tires. The supplied rod end lets the bar be adjusted off the car to quickly lengthen or shorten it to the desired length. The spherical rod end and polyurethane bushing combination eliminates most rear end bind without sacrificing ride quality, a strong improvement for street or drag use. Installation is an easy 30 minute bolt-on with no drilling required, using the OEM hardware. Note: some 1975 models were built as a 4-link setup with two upper control arms, so if the vehicle is a 1975 model verify that it has a panhard bar before ordering. This part is made in the USA.

Why should the stock panhard bar be replaced?
The tubular bar adds strength over the flimsy stock unit, improves the bushing setup and allows rear end adjustment, which is important for recentering the rear end after lowering and for clearing larger tires.
How is the panhard bar adjusted?
The supplied rod end allows the bar to be adjusted off the car, so it can be quickly lengthened or shortened to the desired length before installation.
Is installation difficult?
No. It is an easy 30 minute bolt-on installation with no drilling required and it uses the OEM hardware.
Does it fit every 1975 model?
