These UMI Performance rear lower control arms are a direct bolt-on upgrade for classic B-Body cars, suited to restoration projects, street cars, cruisers, and drag cars. The boxed arms replace the stock stamped steel units, which can rust and weaken over time. They are constructed from rectangular tubing with 0.120 inch wall thickness, CNC machined drawn over mandrel bushing holders, and MIG welded end caps that block road debris, and they use correct spring perches that accept the factory spring. The greasable polyurethane bushings improve ride quality and reduce bushing deflection compared with stock rubber, cutting body roll, increasing traction, and helping eliminate wheel hop. They are made in the USA. A Grade 8 hardware kit for installation is available separately and includes everything except the shock mount bolts.
