This UMI Performance kit replaces the factory stamped lower control arms and panhard bar with heavy duty tubular versions. The bolt-on design helps minimize wheel hop, improve cornering, and keep track times consistent. The panhard bar increases rear stability and controls side to side movement, while the lower control arms reduce wheel hop and improve straight line traction. Both the control arms and the panhard bar are built from seamless DOM mild steel tubing for added strength over aluminum versions, then CNC machined and TIG welded. Fluted polyurethane greaseable bushings, CNC machined zinc plated steel sleeves, and grease fittings are included for easy maintenance. Installation uses the factory mounting points and OEM hardware and takes roughly 30 minutes. These components are made in the USA.

Does this kit fit my F-body?
This kit fits 1982 to 2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird models, including Z28, SS, Formula, and Trans Am.
Is installation difficult?
No. The kit bolts into the factory mounting points using OEM hardware and typically installs in about 30 minutes.
Is the panhard bar in this kit adjustable?
No. This kit uses a fixed length non-adjustable panhard bar. UMI offers a separate kit with an on-car adjustable panhard bar for rear end centering.
What is the difference between the red and black versions?
Construction and fitment are identical. The only difference is the powder coat color. Part number 201520-R is red and 201520-B is black.
