UMI Performance manufactures this spring kit in-house, developed in conjunction with a leading Sprint Cup chassis engineer. The front springs are wound from 5160 chrome silicon premium wire with a linear 530 lb/in rate, and the rear springs are wound from 9254 chrome silicon premium wire with a linear 130 lb/in rate. Ride height is engineered for a 2 inch drop with a standard small block, Pontiac 400, or aluminum head and intake big block Chevy as well as LS power, though lightened cars may require spring trimming. The front springs also suit full weight big block applications when a quarter inch nose down rake is desired. The kit works well for Auto-x, Pro-Touring, corner carving, and cruising, carries a durable black powder coat finish, and is made in the USA.
