This UMI Performance kit provides a solid foundation for the 4th generation F-body front suspension with increased rigidity, smooth travel, precise steering feel, and roughly 8 pounds of weight savings over stock. The DOM 1-1/4 inch diameter tubular sections are precision bent, CNC notched, and welded in a jig to form a solid base. The in-house built 4130 chromoly tube adapter on the lower a-arm provides a durable attachment point for the precision rod end, while the other side uses a smooth, quiet, bind free polyurethane bushing. The lower a-arms use a two piece heavy duty sleeve that lets the arm pivot freely, and the upper a-arms use street friendly greaseable polyurethane bushings. The spring and shock attach to the lower arm through a 1/4 inch thick steel shock mount, and the CNC machined lower ball joint cup and CNC laser cut upper pad come with premium ball joints installed. The lower a-arms install on the factory k-member or an aftermarket k-member and the stock spindle for a true bolt-on fit. These components are made in the USA in Philipsburg, PA.

Is installation difficult?
No. The lower a-arms install on the factory k-member or an aftermarket k-member and use the stock spindle for a true bolt-on fit.
Do the a-arms come with ball joints?
Yes. Premium ball joints are installed in the CNC machined lower ball joint cup and the CNC laser cut upper pad. The kit also saves about 8 pounds over the stock arms.
What is the difference between the red and black versions?
Construction and fitment are identical. The only difference is the powder coat color. Part number 230511-R is red and 230511-B is black.
