The UMI Performance factory height spring kit is a front and rear coil spring set for 1967-1972 GM A-Body cars, engineered to add modern handling and a crisp ride while keeping the factory muscle car stance. The front springs are wound from 5160 CrSi premium wire with a linear 530 lb/in rate, and the rear springs are wound from 9254 CrSi premium wire with a linear 130 lb/in rate. The linear rate gives consistent handling for autocross and pro-touring use while the added stiffness reduces body roll and eliminates the floating feeling common to the A-Body. Ride height is engineered to sit level with a standard small block Chevy, Pontiac 400, or aluminum head and intake big block Chevy, as well as LS power, and lightened cars may require spring trimming. The front springs also suit full weight big block builds when a quarter inch nose down rake is wanted. The springs wear a tough black powder coat finish, and UMI manufactures them in the USA.
