UMI Performance extended length rear lower control arms are designed to center the rear wheels of the Chevrolet Caprice and Impala SS correctly within the wheel well. They feature a 5/8 inch extension with added adjustment for precise rear end centering, and the length can be adjusted an additional 1/4 inch beyond the initial extension. Built from 1.500 inch DOM tubing and fully TIG welded for strength, they provide provisions for attaching a stock or aftermarket sway bar. The sway bar holes are reinforced with a 0.120 inch steel sleeve that is TIG welded and sanded in place, and a billet aluminum spacer attaches the sway bar in the factory location. This control arm setup is compatible with UMI Performance weld-in relocation brackets, part number 3610. Installation typically takes 1 to 2 hours using OEM hardware, and new 10.9 grade sway bar hardware is included. The arms are CNC machined for precise tolerances, come fully assembled with greaseable bushings, and use 4140 chrome moly threaded tube adapters. Depending on ride height, a longer driveshaft may be necessary. These control arms are made in the USA and finished in a durable glossy black powder coat.
