The UMI Performance 4500-B is a one-piece, NHRA legal drive shaft safety loop for the 1964-1972 GM A-Body. It installs as a bolt-in or weld-in application, contoured to follow the A-Body floor pan and mounting into the reinforcement rib located behind the transmission. A safety loop is required at most tracks for cars running quicker than 13.99 in the quarter mile. The loop is built from 0.250 inch thick mild steel with CNC machined mounting points for a precise fit and is fully MIG welded for strength, then finished in black powder coat. This part is made in the USA.
