UMI Performance part number 4008 allows LS power to be installed in 1968 to 1972 GM A-Body vehicles. The mounts place the LS engine in the factory small-block and big-block location, with the ability to move the engine rearward up to 3/4 inch or forward 1/4 inch. The brackets bolt directly to the frame and the LS block with no modification. Strong 1/4 inch plate and double-shear brackets handle the power an LS can produce. Greaseable polyurethane engine mounts are built in to dampen vibration while keeping a crisp, performance feel, which removes the need to buy separate engine mounts.
