The Texas Speed Turbo LT Stroker Camshaft is engineered for high-horsepower Gen V LT-based stroker engines, 400 cubic inches and up, running turbochargers. Texas Speed designed it to use the full powerband of a turbo system while supporting extended rpm, making it a fit for serious street and race builds, and the 32 percent fuel lobe raises direct injection pump output to match the fuel demand under boost.
The cam measures 234/248 duration at .050", .646"/.631" lift and a 114 degree lobe separation angle ground with 2 degrees of advance. Texas Speed requires its TSP/PAC .660" valve spring kit, 3/8" pushrods and aftermarket pistons with valve reliefs for piston-to-valve clearance. For high-rpm stability at 7,000 rpm and above it recommends PAC-1209X springs with Johnson lifters, and it says the cam works best with aftermarket cylinder heads and a performance intake manifold.

FAQ
What engines is the Texas Speed Turbo LT Stroker Cam for?
It is for turbocharged Gen V LT-based stroker engines of 400 cubic inches or more. Aftermarket pistons with valve reliefs are required, so it is not intended for a stock LT1, L83, L86 or L8T.
How does the Turbo LT Stroker cam differ from the centrifugal and PDS LT stroker cams?
The turbo grind is 234/248 on a tighter 114 degree LSA with 2 degrees of advance. Texas Speed's Centrifugal LT Stroker Cam is 231/251 on 117 LSA and its PDS LT Stroker Cam is 231/254 on 118 LSA. All three share .646"/.631" lift, a 32 percent fuel lobe and the same spring and pushrod requirements.
What valve springs and pushrods does the Turbo LT Stroker Cam require?
Texas Speed requires its TSP/PAC .660" valve spring kit and 3/8" pushrods. For high-rpm stability at 7,000 rpm and above it recommends PAC-1209X springs and Johnson lifters.
What is the 32 percent fuel lobe on this camshaft?
Gen V LT engines drive the direct injection high-pressure fuel pump from a camshaft lobe. Texas Speed grinds this cam with a 32 percent fuel lobe to increase pump output for a large displacement turbocharged engine.
Do I need aftermarket heads and intake with the Turbo LT Stroker cam?
Texas Speed states the camshaft works best with aftermarket cylinder heads and a performance intake manifold, which suit the airflow of a 400+ CID turbocharged LT engine.
