The Texas Speed Stainless Steel Cat-Back Exhaust for the 1998 to 2002 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird and Trans Am LS1 is a complete bolt-on system built entirely from stainless steel with mandrel-bent tubing. It runs 3" tubing ahead of the crossover-style muffler and 2.5" tubing after it, finishing in dual 4" double-wall stainless exhaust tips.
A 3" exhaust cutout is built into the intermediate pipe ahead of the muffler. The included block-off plate lets the cutout be opened or closed by hand, so the car can run through the muffler or dump ahead of it depending on the setting. Texas Speed notes that an electronic cutout actuator is not part of the supplied system. The kit includes the front extension, mid extension kit, cutout and plate, crossover muffler, two tailpipes, tips and all system hardware.
