The Texas Speed LS1 / LS6 / LS2 / LS3 / L99 / L98 MLS Exhaust Manifold Gasket is an OE-style multi-layer steel gasket that seals headers or exhaust manifolds to Gen III and Gen IV LS cylinder heads. Texas Speed sells it per gasket, and two are required per engine. It is the same gasket Texas Speed packs with its long tube header kits and offers as the TSP OE-style LS1 exhaust manifold gasket in its heads and camshaft gasket kits.
Texas Speed states the multi-layer steel design seals better than cheaper paper-style gaskets, which are prone to burning up quickly under exhaust heat. That makes it the gasket to use when installing long tube headers, swapping manifolds or fixing an exhaust leak at the head on an LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, L99 or L98. Order two to cover both banks.

FAQ
What engines does the Texas Speed TSP-EG7944 exhaust manifold gasket fit?
Texas Speed lists it for the LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, L99 and L98 engines, and its engine tags cover the Gen III and Gen IV LS families and the LS7. The vehicle list shows the applications Texas Speed publishes for it.
How many gaskets do I need for one engine?
Two. Texas Speed sells TSP-EG7944 per gasket and states that two are required per engine, one for each cylinder head.
Why use a multi-layer steel exhaust gasket instead of a paper gasket?
Texas Speed states its multi-layer steel design seals better than cheaper paper-style gaskets, which are prone to burning up quickly from exhaust heat, so the MLS gasket lasts longer at the header flange.
Is this the gasket included with Texas Speed long tube headers?
Yes. Texas Speed lists TSP-EG7944 as the exhaust manifold gasket, quantity two, in its LS long tube header kits such as the 2010 to 2015 Camaro SS header packages, and as the TSP OE-style LS1 gasket in its gasket kits.
Does this gasket fit the 2014 and newer Gen V LT1?
No. For 2014 and newer Gen V direct-injection engines, Texas Speed offers the TSP-7093 MLS exhaust manifold gasket, also sold individually. TSP-EG7944 covers the LS1, LS6, LS2, LS3, L99 and L98.
