The Texas Speed 1-7/8" Long Tube Headers with Catted Connection Pipes is a header kit for the 2016 and newer Chevrolet Camaro SS that keeps catalytic converters in the system. The headers are 304 stainless steel with 2.0 mm wall tubing, mandrel bent on CNC benders, and finish in 3" merge-style collectors with welded O2 bungs. The catted connection pipes join the collectors to the rest of the exhaust.
Texas Speed supplies new GM exhaust manifold gaskets, exhaust clamps and a front O2 sensor extension harness with the kit, plus a button-head bolt for the third steering shaft bolt from the bottom to open up clearance at the steering shaft. The kit can be ordered with or without the TSP 6 mm tunnel plate spacer. Convertible models require additional modifications, and the connection pipes are not CARB legal.
