This Speed Engineering conversion harness plugs in place of the factory LS1/LS6 knock sensor harness and extends to the sensor locations on an LS2 engine block. It is commonly used when an LS2 or newer engine is installed in an LS1/LS6 engine bay, and it is compatible with the LS1 Corvette and Camaro PCM harness.
The cam portion lets the cam sensor on the front of an LS2 engine plug into the LS1 cam sensor connector at the back of the intake manifold. The knock portion lets the single-wire LS1 knock sensor connections reach knock sensors mounted on both sides of the LS2 block and plug into the factory LS1 PCM harness.
