These Speed Engineering black valve covers fit LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, LS7, and LS9 engines and give an additional 0.54" of internal clearance over factory height valve covers. The coils mount directly to the covers, which eliminates the OE-style coil brackets. The covers use proven OE-style baffles and vents, include gaskets, and come with one billet oil fill cap and 3/8" breather tubes. They work with factory or Speed Engineering spark plug wires.
⚠️ Important Notes:
- Works with standard GM coils "D51OC" (12570616) and "D514A" (12573190) mounted directly to the valve covers. Other coils may work but have not been tested
- Includes an offset bracket for first coil clearance at the alternator. The offset bracket is compatible only with D51OC coils
- Center-mount design. Will not work on certain LS1 cylinder heads
