QA1 Street Performance lower control arms are an upgrade for 1964-1972 GM A-Body vehicles driven mainly for cruising and longer distances. The arms combine high-strength steel tubing with billet aluminum cross shafts for a light assembly with improved strength and durability, and they are configured for QA1 Pro Coil systems with double-shear lower mounting. Greasable polyurethane bushings isolate road noise for a smoother ride while staying stiff enough for sharper handling, and the integrated QA1 ball joint is stronger than the factory unit for long service life. The arms are robotically welded and powder coated. When the upper and lower arms are installed together they add roughly 3 to 4 degrees of caster and 0.5 to 1 degree of negative camber, correcting outdated front end geometry.

FAQ
Are these direct bolt-in control arms?
Yes. The kit is designed for bolt-in installation on the listed applications and corrects outdated factory front-end geometry.
What bushings do these control arms use?
They use greasable polyurethane bushings, which isolate road noise for a smoother ride while remaining stiffer than factory rubber for improved handling.
Do these arms work with coil-over systems?
Yes. They are configured for QA1 Pro Coil systems and use a double-shear lower mounting.
How much alignment change do they add?
Installed as an upper and lower pair, the arms add approximately 3 to 4 degrees of caster and 0.5 to 1 degree of negative camber. Used on their own, each adds roughly half of those figures.
