    QA1 high travel coil springs are made in the USA from high-tensile chrome silicon alloy spring wire. The alloy allows fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter, so the spring is lighter and gains travel from the wider spacing between the coils. Reduced unsprung weight helps the suspension react faster for more consistent performance. Careful heat treating and shot peening improve fatigue life, and the coil design can be compressed to coil bind without changing the spring rate or free height. This spring has a 4.125 in inner diameter, a 11 in free length, and a 250 lb/in rate, with ground square ends and a silver powder coat finish. The lower end is tapered. Every QA1 spring carries a lifetime guarantee to remain within 2 percent of its original free height and rate under normal operating conditions.
