QA1's bolt-on rear coil-over system converts 1963-1972 Chevrolet C10 trucks that originally used a coil-spring rear suspension to adjustable coil-overs while retaining the factory truck arms. Adjustability is built into several areas so the geometry can be fine-tuned after lowering. Converting to coil-overs allows ride height to be set at each corner for the desired stance, the adjustable panhard bar keeps the rear axle centered for more predictable cornering, and multiple mounting locations correct roll center geometry for the chosen amount of drop. The coil-overs mount outboard of the frame rail, closer to the wheel, for better cornering stability and added room for popular rear-mounted fuel tanks. The system bolts on and installs without removing the bed. This kit uses single-adjustable shocks.
