This billet aluminum LS valley cover features a modern, trussed design with an integrated oil fill neck and billet oil fill cap, giving LS1/LS6 and LS2/LS3/LS7/LSX engines a custom dress-up upgrade. Machined smooth on the underside, it allows for elimination of Displacement-On-Demand (DOD) while providing an ample gasket sealing surface and provisions for reinstalling the factory oil pressure sensor.

To use the factory top-mounted oil pressure sensor on LS2/LS3/LS7/LSX engines, carefully drill and tap the oil pressure sensor provision at the pre-located pilot hole on the underside of the cover to accept an M16 x 1.5 male NPT fitting. If using this cover for a DOD delete, all 8 oil port holes must be drilled and tapped 1/8-NPT and plugged, or loss of oil pressure will occur. All necessary gaskets and upgraded mounting hardware are sold separately.
