This in-tank fuel pump module is a direct replacement for the factory pick-up and sending unit in 1973-1987 Chevrolet/GMC C/K Series truck fuel tanks, eliminating the need for a custom EFI tank. The factory fuel hard line can be retained by connecting the module outlet to it with EFI-rated hose and clamps. A 350 LPH pump and a Holley HydraMat fuel reservoir system are built in to reduce fuel starvation during cornering, acceleration, braking, and low-fuel conditions.
Specifications:
- Average Flow Rating: 350 LPH
- Supports up to 750 horsepower
- Internally regulated to 58 PSI, no external return line required
- Fuel Sending Unit: 0-90 ohms, pre-calibrated to the factory gauge
- Inlet Diameter: 5/16 in
- Outlet Outside Diameter: 3/8 in
- Material: Steel and plastic
- Fits Long Bed and Short Bed applications
- Vent Size: 1/4 in
- Includes Holley HydraMat fuel reservoir filter
- Part Number: 12-378
Compatible with 1973-1986 fuel tanks that do not have fuel injection baffles (GM11B style). 1987 (GM11C) tanks require use of the earlier non-fuel-injection tank. Not compatible with pulse-width modulation (PWM)-controlled fuel systems.
FAQ
What vehicles does part number 12-378 fit?
It's designed for 1973-1987 Chevrolet/GMC C/K Series trucks, both long bed and short bed.
Will this fit a 1987 truck?
1987 trucks with the GM11C tank baffle style need to use the earlier non-fuel-injection (GM11B) tank for this module to fit.
Do I need a separate fuel pressure regulator?
No. Fuel pressure is internally regulated to 58 psi and excess fuel returns inside the tank, so no external regulator or return line is required.
