    The Remflex exhaust header gasket uses a solid 100% graphite construction to seal GM V8, Chevy 348 and 409. Graphite handles extreme exhaust heat and conforms to less-than-perfect sealing surfaces, so the joint stays sealed without repeated re-torquing.

    No. The graphite rebounds against the sealing surfaces, so it stays tight and does not require re-tightening after heat cycles.

    Yes. The built-in 50% crush lets it fill gaps and surface imperfections up to 1/16 inch.
