This CVF Racing kit supplies a matched set of 6061-T6 billet aluminum V-belt pulleys in a Stealth Black finish: a one-groove crankshaft pulley, a one-groove water pump pulley and a one-groove alternator pulley. It is meant for Ford 289, 302 and 351W small block engines set up with a factory 4-bolt crankshaft damper, a water pump that routes the lower radiator hose to the passenger side, and 3.0" from the damper face to the water pump flange face. This series covers later 4-bolt-damper engines installed in early Ford cars and trucks that keep the passenger-side hose water pump.
The kit is offered in an underdrive ratio or a high flow ratio.
Specifications:
- Finish: Stealth Black
- Material: 6061-T6 billet aluminum
- Belt type: V-belt
- Crankshaft pulley: 1 groove
- Water pump pulley: 1 groove
- Alternator pulley: 1 groove
- Pulley ratio choices: Underdrive or High Flow
- Crank damper: Factory 4-bolt
- Water pump: Lower radiator hose on passenger side
- Damper face to water pump flange face: 3.0"
- Made in the USA
- Part number: B-SBFS1KIT
Kit Includes:
- One-groove crankshaft pulley (SBFS1CR)
- One-groove water pump pulley in the selected ratio (CVF lists SBFS1WP)
- One-groove alternator pulley (SBF1ALT)
Application Notes:
- CVF notes that aftermarket dampers may need a 0.950" spacer.
- Works with CVF alternator brackets 302-ALTBRKT-P and 351W-ALTBRKT-P. An older factory bracket from an alternator only car needs its mounting location adjusted, or a new bracket, because Ford used two alternator positions.
- A CVF billet thermostat housing with swivel base is offered as a separate add-on and is sold separately from this kit.
- CVF advises choosing small block Ford pulleys by which side the lower radiator hose exits and by the number of crank pulley bolts, not by vehicle model and year alone, because original engines are often swapped.
