The CVF Racing WRAPTOR is an all inclusive 8-rib serpentine conversion for Ford 289, 302 and 351W small block engines with standard rotation, covering power steering and alternator. This version has a Stealth Black finish with a carbon fiber inlay, offered in black, red, blue, green or orange carbon fiber. It mounts the alternator on the driver's side above the power steering pump.
CVF uses 8-rib pulleys instead of a 6-rib layout, saying the wider belt adds grip and resists stretch and slip. A spring loaded tensioner holds belt tension through hard acceleration and deceleration and takes up belt stretch over time.
