The CVF Racing BEAST 8-rib serpentine system converts a Chrysler small block 318, 340 or 360 (LA style) from V-belts to a serpentine drive for an alternator, a Saginaw P-Series power steering pump and a Sanden 508 style A/C compressor. It works with an original or aftermarket clockwise rotation water pump. CVF states its 8-rib pulleys give more grip, less belt stretch and less slippage than common 6-rib designs.
The kit is offered with an alternator bracket for Chrysler (round or square back) or GM 10SI style, a 5/8" keyway or 3/4" press fit power steering pulley, and with or without CVF premium 8-rib serpentine belts. The GM alternator version adds an alternator fan, since Chrysler alternators use an internal fan. Finish is Stealth Black.
