The stealth black CVF Racing BEAST serpentine conversion kit converts a Ford 429 or 460 big block to an 8-rib serpentine accessory drive running an alternator only. CVF states its 8-rib pulley design grips better, stretches less and slips less than a typical 6-rib layout. The alternator mounts low on the passenger side.
It is designed to reuse an original or aftermarket clockwise rotation mechanical water pump. The kit is offered with or without CVF's premium 8-rib serpentine belt(s), selected when ordering.
