The CVF Racing BEAST serpentine conversion converts a Small Block Chevy (283, 302, 305, 350 and 400 CID) with a long water pump to an 8-rib serpentine accessory drive for an A/C, power steering & high-mount alternator setup. A Sanden 508 style A/C compressor mounts high on the driver side above the power steering pump. A Saginaw P series power steering pump mounts low on the driver side. The alternator mounts on the passenger side in a high-mount position.
CVF uses an 8-rib pulley profile instead of the common 6-rib design to give the belt more grip and reduce stretch and slip. Brackets and pulleys are supplied in a polished finish.
