The CVF Racing Wraptor all-inclusive system converts a Small Block Chevy 283, 302, 305, 327, 350 or 400 to a single 8-rib serpentine belt in a wide mount layout. The alternator is placed on the driver's side above the GM Type II power steering pump, and the full configuration also runs a peanut style A/C compressor. A high-flow aluminum mechanical water pump, short style with reverse rotation, comes with every configuration along with its pulley and cover.
CVF uses 8-rib pulleys to give the belt more grip and less stretch than a 6-rib drive, and a spring-loaded tensioner holds tension through hard acceleration and deceleration while taking up belt stretch. The bracket is two-piece billet aluminum in a polished aluminum or C3 ceramic clear coat finish, and the alternator, A/C compressor and power steering pump are chrome.
