The polished CVF Racing BEAST conversion kit moves a Ford 351 Cleveland, 351M or 400 from V-belts to an 8 rib serpentine drive for the alternator, a Saginaw P series power steering pump and a Sanden 508 style A/C compressor. CVF uses 8 rib pulleys in place of the common 6 rib design for more belt contact and less slip.
The kit reuses an original or aftermarket clockwise rotation water pump. It supplies billet aluminum brackets for the alternator, power steering pump and compressor, plus the pulleys, an A/C idler pulley and an alternator fan. The alternator sits mid height on the passenger side and the compressor sits high on the driver's side.
