This CVF Racing BEAST kit converts the alternator and a Saginaw power steering pump on a Ford 5.0L or 5.8L with the 1986 to 1993 reverse rotation water pump to an 8-rib serpentine belt. The pulleys and brackets are CNC machined from billet aluminum.
CVF states its BEAST 8-rib pulley design grips better, stretches the belt less and resists slipping compared with a 6-rib layout. The alternator mounts high on the passenger side.
