This CVF Racing BEAST kit puts the A/C compressor, alternator and power steering pump on an 8-rib serpentine belt for a Ford 289, 302 or 351W small block that uses an electric water pump. It is built for a Saginaw P series power steering pump and a Sanden 508 style compressor.
CVF states its BEAST 8-rib pulley design grips better, stretches the belt less and resists slipping compared with a 6-rib layout. The alternator mounts mid height on the passenger side and the compressor mounts high on the driver's side.
