The polished CVF Racing BEAST serpentine conversion kit converts a Ford 429 or 460 big block to an 8-rib serpentine accessory drive running an alternator only. CVF states its 8-rib pulley design grips better, stretches less and slips less than a typical 6-rib layout. The alternator mounts in a mid to high position on the engine.
It is designed to reuse an original or aftermarket clockwise rotation mechanical water pump. The kit is offered with or without CVF's premium 8-rib serpentine belt(s), selected when ordering.
