This CVF Racing BEAST serpentine conversion kit converts a Ford 5.0L or 5.8L small block to an 8-rib serpentine drive for the alternator and air conditioning compressor. It is built for 1986 to 1993 engines with the reverse rotation water pump and timing cover. The 8-rib belt layout gives more belt contact than a 6-rib design, which helps grip and reduces belt stretch and slip. The kit places the alternator high on the passenger side and the A/C compressor high on the driver side, using billet aluminum brackets and polished pulleys. Choose the engine, the damper that will be used (the damper is not included), and whether to include serpentine belts.

FAQ
What engines does this serpentine kit fit?
It fits 1986 to 1993 Ford 5.0L and 5.8L small blocks that use the reverse rotation water pump and timing cover. It will not work with the 1994 to 1995 water pump.
Does the kit include the alternator or A/C compressor?
No. The kit includes the pulleys, billet alternator and A/C brackets, and an alternator fan. The compressor, alternator, water pump, and damper are sold separately.
What A/C compressor does it use?
It is designed for a Sanden 508 style compressor with an 8-groove serpentine pulley.
Why do I need to choose a damper option?
The crank pulley setup depends on the harmonic damper being used. Select the damper on the engine so the kit is configured correctly. Aftermarket balancers may need an additional crank spacer.
What belt does this kit use?
It uses an 8-rib serpentine belt. Serpentine belts can be added as an option or purchased separately.
