This CVF Racing electric water pump is CNC machined from 6061 billet aluminum for Ford 289, 302 and 351 Windsor engines and finished in chrome plated. It moves coolant at a rated 35 GPM at 12 volts and draws 5.5 amps, so coolant flow does not depend on engine speed.
Removing the belt-driven pump takes its mechanical drag off the engine, and CVF estimates the change frees up roughly 5 to 10 horsepower. The kit ships with a backing plate, gaskets, mounting hardware, an inlet pipe and a connector wire, and it is designed to work with CVF Racing accessory brackets.
