The CVF Racing Wraptor is an all-inclusive 8-rib serpentine system for standard rotation Ford 289, 302 and 351W small blocks. It is built on a one piece billet aluminum bracket that places the alternator on the driver's side above the power steering pump, and it supplies the water pump and a 1-wire CS130 alternator, plus a GM Type II power steering pump and peanut style A/C compressor in the configurations that use them.
A spring loaded tensioner holds belt tension under hard acceleration and deceleration and takes up belt stretch. CVF states its 8-rib pulleys grip better, stretch less and resist slipping compared with a 6-rib layout. The Wraptor is offered in four configurations: A/C, power steering and alternator; power steering and alternator; A/C and alternator; or alternator only.
