The CVF Racing Wraptor all-inclusive system replaces the V-belt drive on an AMC or Jeep 304, 360 or 401 V8 with a single 8-rib serpentine belt. A one-piece billet aluminum bracket carries a 1-wire CS130 alternator on the driver's side above a GM Type II power steering pump, and the full configuration adds a peanut style A/C compressor.
CVF specifies 8-rib pulleys for more belt grip and less slip than a 6-rib layout, and a spring-loaded tensioner keeps the belt tight under hard acceleration and deceleration while taking up stretch. The water pump is not part of this kit; CVF recommends an Edelbrock 8831 or 8832 pump. The kit is compatible with hydroboost.

Which engines does this AMC Wraptor system fit?
CVF builds it for AMC and Jeep 304, 360 and 401 V8 engines, and it requires a 1970 or later 4-bolt balancer.
Is a water pump included?
No. The water pump is not included. CVF recommends an Edelbrock 8831 or 8832 water pump, and the order asks which pump height (1968 to 1972 at 4.44 inches or 1973 to 1993 at 4.81 inches) is being used.
Does this kit work with hydroboost?
Yes. CVF lists the kit as compatible with hydroboost, and hydroboost units with remote or attached reservoirs are among the power steering choices.
Are power steering lines included?
No. The lines between the power steering pump and the reservoir are not included. CVF power steering line kits are sold separately.
