This CVF Racing BEAST kit converts a Ford 289, 302 or 351W small block to an 8-rib serpentine drive for the A/C compressor, alternator and power steering pump. It keeps the standard clockwise rotation water pump and is set up for the original style Ford power steering pump.
CVF states its BEAST 8-rib pulley design grips better, stretches the belt less and resists slipping compared with a 6-rib layout. The alternator mounts mid height on the passenger side and the Sanden 508 style compressor mounts high on the driver's side.
