This CVF Racing BEAST kit puts the alternator and a Saginaw power steering pump on an 8-rib serpentine belt for a Ford 289, 302 or 351W small block that runs a high flow Meziere 55 GPM electric water pump. It is designed for Meziere WP311 and WP312 series pumps only and requires a pre-1994 timing cover.
CVF states its BEAST 8-rib pulley design grips better, stretches the belt less and resists slipping compared with a 6-rib layout. The kit is offered for 289 and 302 or 351W engines, for 3 bolt or 4 bolt factory and aftermarket dampers, and with or without belts.
