It is considered an S-Type muffler when compared with the 7.75 inch diameter x 24 inch long body Borla Specialty mufflers used on the same application. The un-notched necks are designed for weld-in installation; if clamping, use 3 inch wide band clamps (part 18006, clamps not included). The reversible design adds installation flexibility. It is built from high quality T-304 austenitic stainless steel with 100 percent welded construction and a high-temperature continuous-filament fiber acoustic packing for sound control. The natural mill finish can be brushed or polished prior to installation. Borla exhaust products are handmade in the USA and backed by the Borla Million-Mile warranty.
