This 3 inch universal hydroformed Borla SwitchFire X-pipe is built for creating custom exhaust systems. Hydroforming gives the center section a lower profile than a conventional SwitchFire X-pipe. The pipe measures 21.1 inches long by 7.8 inches wide by 5.5 inches high, with a 3 inch inside-diameter inlet and 3 inch outside-diameter outlet and 4 inch centerline spacing on inlets and outlets. Its reversible design adds installation flexibility. By eliminating the turbulent center intersection of a standard X-pipe, Borla's patented SwitchFire design blends the combustion pulses from both sides of the engine for improved performance, producing an aggressive custom sound and added power. The notched outlet necks allow easy clamp-on installation using a 1 inch wide band clamp (part 18330, not included); the inlet necks use a 3 inch wide band clamp (part 18006, not included). Each SwitchFire X-pipe is built from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, superior to T-400 series materials such as 409, for lasting performance and durability.
