The Borla S-Type cat-back exhaust system for the 2015-2017 Volkswagen Golf R was designed specifically for the 2.0L turbo engine. The 3 inch diameter system flows into dual 2.25 inch tail pipes on each muffler assembly and uses functioning valves to deliver the classic S-Type sound with no interior drone. It exits through dual 3.5 inch round polished T-304 stainless steel tips on each muffler assembly, four tips total. A 3.0 inch to 2.5 inch, 6.63 inch long adapter is included for clamp-on installation to the stock exhaust; the adapter is not used for the full 3 inch inlet. Optional resonator 60707 is available for additional sound control.
