    This black anodized two-piece aluminum bracket clamps around 1in OD round tubing with 5/16in hex head fasteners and features a 1/2in-13 tapped hole for a ballast mounting stud (sold separately). The economy model uses hex head hardware instead of socket head fasteners for easier removal.

    Compatibility

    Fits round chassis tubing with a 1in outside diameter. Works with any ballast weight or component featuring a standard 1/2in-13 threaded mounting stud (stud and nut sold separately).

    This bracket is designed to clamp around 1in OD round tubing.

    What is the difference between this and the standard ballast bracket?

    This economy model uses 5/16in hex head fasteners instead of recessed socket head fasteners, making the bolts easier to remove without stripping.

    Is the mounting stud and nut included?

    No, the ballast mounting stud and nut are sold separately. The bracket includes a 1/2in-13 tapped hole.
