It uses an extruded PTFE inner tube compatible with a wide range of fluids, including hydraulic brake fluid with a single bright stainless steel wire braid that resists abrasion and corrosion. In the -6 size it is rated to 2,500 psi, suited to brake, clutch, power steering, hydraulic, gauge, nitrous, and A/C lines. It is sold as a single 3 ft length and uses Aeroquip reusable PTFE hose ends, sold separately.
