This complete full kit pairs Speed Engineering's 2" longtube headers with a 3" off-road X-pipe that connects directly to the factory cat-back location — replacing the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds and catalytic mid-pipes with a free-flowing stainless system designed for strong horsepower and torque gains, improved throttle response, and a deeper, more aggressive exhaust tone. Built from 304 natural stainless steel with mandrel-bent primary tubes, CNC-machined flanges, merge spikes, and full TIG-welded construction. An optional True Dual Exhaust system is available as an upgrade at checkout.
⚠️ Important Installation Notes:
- Rear downstream O₂ sensors are not used — a check engine light for catalyst efficiency will appear and must be disabled via PCM tuning
- Base/GS models use the 3" X-pipe with 2.75" reducers to factory exhaust
- Z06 models use the 3" X-pipe with 3" connection
- 4L60E transmission — true dual exhaust does NOT work with early 4L60 transmissions. Modification to the passenger side tube is required for 4L60E fitment. Compatible with 6 speed automatic and manual transmissions without modification
- Rear exiting exhaust kit will NOT work with vehicles equipped with a differential cooler
