    Dropping an LS into your full-size GM B-body? Speed Engineering's 1-3/4" LS swap longtube headers are engineered for great fitment across the broad range of 1971–1996 GM B-body platforms — from classic 1970s Impalas and Caprices to 1990s Roadmasters, Fleetwoods, and Impala SS builds. Mandrel bent, TIG-welded, and CNC-machined from 304 natural stainless steel with merge spikes and standard graphite manifold gaskets included. Compatible with the full LS engine family from 4.8L through 6.2L including LS1, LS2, LS3, LS6, and LSA.

    ⚠️ Important Installation Notes:

    • LS swap applications only — these headers are NOT compatible with standard SBC or BBC engines
    • Due to older vehicle frame clearance, headers fit very tight and require Speed Engineering spark plug wires
    • 4L80E or older Turbo 350/400 transmission — bellhousing ears may need to be trimmed for proper clearance
    • Note: Installed photos show 1-7/8" headers with 1" offset back motor mounts

    Q: Will these fit with a 4L80E or older Turbo 350/400 transmission? These headers may require trimming of the bellhousing ears on 4L80E or older Turbo 350/400 transmissions for proper clearance.

    Q: What is the difference between these headers and the SBC B-body longtube headers (25-1231)? Part 25-1025 is for LS engine swap conversions on 1971–1996 B-body platforms. Part 25-1231 is for original SBC 305/350 engines on 1971–1993 Impala and Caprice. Make sure to select the correct headers for your engine.

    Processing Time

    In-stock orders are typically processed and shipped within 1–2 business days of receiving payment, unless otherwise noted on the product page. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

    Shipping Costs

    30-Day Return Window

    You have 30 days from the date of purchase to initiate a return. After this window, we are unable to accept returns. We do not offer exchanges — all approved returns are refunded per the terms below.

    How to Initiate a Return

    To request a return, contact us at sales@berryperformancesales.com with your order number and reason for return. All returns must be approved by our team before any item is shipped back to us. Once your return has been approved, your item must be shipped within 10 days of approval. Items shipped without prior approval or outside this window will be refused and returned to sender.

    Return Conditions

    To be eligible for a return, items must be:

    • Unused and in original condition
    • In original packaging
    • Inclusive of all parts and accessories

    Custom ordered products are non-returnable. If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before purchasing.

    Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item before processing any refund. We reserve the right to deny or adjust your refund if the item is received in a condition that differs from what was originally shipped — including signs of use, missing parts, or damage that occurred after delivery.
