Speed Engineering 1-3/4" Longtube Headers & Y-Pipe Full Kit for 1999–2006 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 1500 4.8L, 5.3L, 6.0L applications.
This complete bolt-on system replaces the restrictive factory exhaust manifolds and mid-pipes with free-flowing stainless longtubes and a 3" off-road Y-pipe that connects directly to the existing cat-back location. Designed for significant horsepower gains, aggressive exhaust tone, and long-lasting durability.

⚠️ Note: Rear (downstream) O₂ sensors are not used. A check-engine light for catalyst efficiency will appear and must be disabled via PCM tuning.

(1) Pair of stainless steel 1-3/4" Longtube Headers
(1) 3" Off-Road Y-Pipe / Connection Pipe
(1) Set of Zinc-Coated Header Bolts (or stainless ARP bolts if selected)
(2) MLS Exhaust Gaskets

Plug Wires and Sleeves can be added to the kit if selected.

Note: If using a larger 4L80E transmission the bellhousing ears may need to be trimmed for proper clearance.

Note: Most 6.0 applications have a 2 into 1 exhaust system which our y pipe system will not work with. Double check your exhaust for confirmation of fitment with single exhaust. Our x pipe kit can work on the 2 into 1 exhaust systems, but require fabrication for connection.

Note: Earlier 2500's might have fitment issues due to chassis being designed from previous years. Earlier years have the upper control arms mounted on top of the chassis, which would cause fitment issues.

For me the ball joints came bolted in on both upper control arm.
The also make it easier for future bushings replacements, by not being pressed fit. They also have grease ports to grease the bushings.
