Will this system work with my factory exhaust manifolds?
No. This X-pipe is designed for use with Speed Engineering longtube headers only. It is not compatible with factory exhaust equipment of any kind.
What is the difference between this X-pipe system and the Speed Engineering Y-pipe?
The Y-pipe merges both header collectors into a single outlet for connection to a single cat-back system. The true dual X-pipe connects the two header collectors with a crossover for improved exhaust pulse balancing — it is not a full exhaust system and does not connect to a cat-back. Choose the Y-pipe for a single cat-back setup; choose the X-pipe for improved tone and flow balance between the two exhaust banks.
What transmissions does this system work with?
This X-pipe is compatible with 4, 6, and 8 speed automatic transmissions across the 1999–2018 Silverado and Sierra platform range.
Is a wideband O₂ bung included?
An optional wideband O₂ bung is available for wideband sensor placement for tuning applications.
Does this fit both GMT800 and GMT900 trucks?
Yes. This universal X-pipe covers GMT800 (1999–2006), GMT900 (2007–2013), and K2XX (2014–2018) Silverado and Sierra 1500 applications. Note that 2007 model year trucks must be the new body style only — the 2007 Classic (carry-over GMT800) is not covered under the GMT900 range.
