This retrofit column is designed for 1967-1972 Ford half-ton trucks and installs without modification to the original vehicle. It is a GM-style column with a GM top shaft and 3 7/8" wiring plug, and comes with pre-welded under dash mounts sized for the application. A Borgeson rag joint is used to install the new column in place of the old, and a steering wheel adaptor keeps an aftermarket wheel's gripping surface in the stock position. The shift pattern works with either a 3- or 4-speed automatic transmission.
