This retrofit column is designed for 1955-1959 Chevrolet trucks and installs without modification to the original vehicle using a coupler in place of the old column. It comes with its own specially designed under dash mount and floor mount with gasket, plus a delrin OE gearbox cover that protects the original gearbox from dirt and debris. A steering wheel adaptor keeps an aftermarket wheel's gripping surface in the stock position.
