The ACT VW9-HDSS kit pairs ACT's most popular Heavy Duty pressure plate with ACT's most popular street disc. The Heavy Duty pressure plate uses ACT's exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life, with every diaphragm heat-treated through a four-stage process and a precision-stamped cover for rigidity and consistency. The Performance Street disc uses premium organic friction material with high copper content for better heat transfer, plus a steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. Reduced marcel gives faster shift action while keeping engagement smooth for street use.
