The Texas Speed 5.7L Hemi MDS Delete Kit with Camshaft removes the Multi-Displacement System (MDS) from 2009 and newer Mopar 5.7L Hemi engines and converts them to a non-MDS camshaft and lifter configuration. It packages a TSP stock-style 5.7L non-MDS camshaft with VCT, 16 OE-style non-MDS lifters with retainers, MDS expansion plugs, head gaskets, head bolts, timing cover and valve cover gaskets and supporting hardware.
The kit is ordered in a car or truck version. Tuning is required after installation because the MDS system must be disabled in the calibration for the non-MDS camshaft and lifters to run correctly. Texas Speed offers two optional Diablosport-based tuners: the TSP-TS-3000 for supported 2005 to 2014 applications and the TSP-TS-3002 for 2015 and newer Dodge and Ram vehicles, which require an unlocked PCM through Diablosport's cross-ship process. OE-style Hemi pushrods are an optional add-on.

Ordering Options
A car or truck selection is required when ordering. Two optional tuner menus follow: the TSP-TS-3000 TSP/Diablosport handheld tuner for supported 2005 to 2014 applications, and the TSP-TS-3002 for 2015 and newer Dodge and Ram applications. An OE-style Hemi pushrod kit (TSP-OEHemiPRkit) is also offered as an optional add-on. Select the tuner that matches the vehicle year and application, or choose 'do not need' if tuning will be handled separately.
Note: Tuning is required after installation. Because this package converts the engine to a non-MDS camshaft and lifter configuration, the factory MDS system must be disabled in the calibration for proper operation.
Note: TSP-TS-3000 vehicle coverage: 2005 to 2014 Dodge and Chrysler cars with the 5.7L Hemi, 2011 to 2014 Dodge and Chrysler cars with the 6.4L Hemi, and 2005 to 2014 Ram trucks with the 5.7L or 6.4L Hemi.
Note: TSP-TS-3002 requirements for 2015 and newer vehicles: an unlocked PCM is required before tuning. After receiving the tuner, the customer completes Diablosport's PCM cross-ship form and Diablosport ships an unlocked PCM with a prepaid return label for the factory PCM. 2018 and newer applications include both a bypass module and a bypass harness; cars use the harness and trucks use the module. On 2019 and newer applications the factory PCM must be read before the unlocked PCM is installed; instructions ship with the replacement PCM.
Note: Verify the engine, model year, PCM and tuning compatibility before installation. Additional components or PCM services may be required depending on the vehicle year and configuration.
